Welcome to Paranormal Investigations Ensemble! Home
Welcome!
Paranormal Investigations Ensemble (PIE) was founded in 1997 to chronicle and investigate first-person reports of alleged paranormal, supernatural, eerie, or otherwise unexplainable events and occurrences.
PIE investigators come from a variety of backgrounds and belief systems, and our investigations are approached open-mindedly and without bias.
Sharing these stories with strangers can be difficult for those who have experienced something that they cannot explain or understand. Many people that we speak to have told us they were afraid people would think they were lying or crazy. We do not. Many times we do find a non-ghostly explanations for these strange and frightening experiences; sometimes we find nothing; other times, we find the truly strange and wonderful, a truly ‘super-natural’ occurrence.
PIE is not just a 'ghost hunting' group; We also chronicle reports of unidentified flying objects, close encounters, mysterious or out-of-place animals, mythical beasts, as well as unexplained natural phenomenon. No matter how bizarre it seems -- we want to know about it if you've...
Need help? If you've experienced something you can't explain, and you would like PIE to consider an investigation into your situation, please send us an email at seen.anything.weird@gmail.com. Be sure to include your name, location, a way of contacting you, and a brief description of your experience.
Rest assured that we keep all contacts PRIVATE and CONFIDENTIAL unless given express permission to do otherwise. (That's the reason we don't post accounts of our investigations on our website, too!)
We are located in Southern Michigan (Dundee), and are willing to travel. To date we have conducted investigations throughout Michigan, Ohio, Chicago, and Northern California.
PIE's President, Angelle Chandler, is actively seeking first-person accounts of hauntings and ghostly encounters in the Belleville/Van Buren Township area of Michigan for publication in a nonfiction book. Ghost stories for the book will NOT be debunked or investigated (unless you specifically request that), as this project is intended to catalogue local ghostly occurrences and hauntings as an important part of our local folklore and history -- a part which is often overlooked or forgotten. We are interested in both older and modern stories/encounters!
If you have a Belleville or Van Buren Township 'ghost story' to contribute, please email Angelle Chandler at Ghostly.Belleville@gmail.com.
Thank you for visiting our brand-new website. Our old one has gone the way of the dodo, but we're still around. Our old email (seenanythingweird@yahoo.com) is also defunct -- please contact us through the new one, seen.anything.weird@gmail.com. Thank you!
